At 16 years old, Kelsie began her journey in senior living working in the kitchen of an assisted living community in Minnesota. Around this same time, her grandmother passed away due to complications of Alzheimer’s disease. It was these experiences that led her to choose the path of serving others in senior living.

She moved to Colorado in 2006 for school and graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor’s in Health Care Management and Gerontology. After graduating she spent a few years working in social services and fell in love with serving the clients and their families.

Kelsie has held many different roles in the senior industry including activities, social services, administrator/executive director, and she also led a non-profit in Colorado Springs for four years. Her background and interests bring a solid foundation to help meet the needs of our clients at HSI.

In her free time, you’ll find her exploring with her husband, three children and two dogs. They love playing outside, traveling, being with family, and going to church together at New Life Downtown.
