About Bill Bent

Bill Bent is the Managing Member, New Day Senior Living Management, LLC, which owns a portfolio of senior housing communities.  He has taken his talents to the senior living industry because of the help he can provide for the elderly and their communities. He is an investor in HavenCo, LLC, a leading advisory and brokerage for the senior housing industry.  In addition, he is an investor in institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, a professional coach training company, and GoFresh, a manufactured housing portfolio company.  He is an accomplished keynote speaker, author, and executive coach.  Following near death from a life-altering accident in 2014, he made it his mission to share with others both the wisdom of his life experience and his professional skill in helping companies grow and flourish.  He is passionate about helping people be their best on all levels:  mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually.  Bill has spoken at many company events, professional associations, Harvard University, Miami University, and Bloomsburg University. 

Prior to Bill’s accident, he was five times named one of the Top 100 Most Influential Mortgage Executives by Mortgage Executive Magazine.  In his 35-year career, he twice has grown the largest privately-owned independent mortgage banker in the industry measured in annual fundings at Waterfield Mortgage Company and Academy Mortgage Company.  He is an active board of directors’ member with Bloomsburg University Foundation.  He previously was on the board of directors with Colorado Mortgage Lenders Association, Colorado Homeownership Coalition, Academy Mortgage Company, and institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching.  He has previously served on committees reporting to board of directors with Craig Hospital Foundation and Mods4Quads. 

He continues to inspire people to make positive changes in their lives and their businesses.  His first book will be released soon.

Bill lives in Evergreen, Colorado, with his wife, Liz, and three children.  He is an avid runner, and enjoys hiking, skiing, and golfing.
